General Terms and Conditions

Article 1 – Definitions

1.1 In these general terms and conditions, the following definitions shall apply:

– Event: The sports event organised by Styrekx, including side activities, competitions, expos and side events.

– Participant: A natural person who has validly registered to actively participate in the sporting part of the Event.

– Visitor: A person attending the Event as a spectator, supporter or guest, without actively participating in the sporting part.

– Organiser: Styrekx, established at [address], registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number [Chamber of Commerce number].

– Agreement: The agreement between Participant/Visitor and the Organiser regarding participation or access to the Event.

Article 2 – Applicability

2.1 These general terms and conditions apply to each registration, participation or entry to the Event, as well as to all services and products related thereto.

2.2 By registering or entering the Event Venue, the Participant or Visitor declares that they agree to these terms and conditions.

Article 3 – Registration and Admission

3.1 Registration for participation in the Event takes place via the official website www.styrekx.com or other ticket or registration channels designated by the Organiser.

3.2 Tickets for visitors can only be obtained through the Organiser’s official sales channels.

3.3 Entry to the event location is permitted only on presentation of a valid ticket or registration certificate.

3.4 It is prohibited to conduct commercial activities at or around the event location without the Organiser’s permission.

Article 4 – Participation requirements

4.1 The minimum age for participation is 16 years, or if otherwise specified for a particular category. The Organiser may ask for identification.

4.2 Participants must be physically and mentally able to safely participate in the Event.

4.3 The Organiser reserves the right to refuse or terminate participation if the safety of the Participant or others is compromised.

Article 5 – Health, Safety and Conduct

5.1 Participants and Visitors must behave in an orderly manner at the event location and follow instructions from the staff.

5.2 It is prohibited to bring dangerous objects, fireworks, weapons or narcotics to the venue.

5.3 The Organiser reserves the right to deny persons access or remove them from the location in the event of misconduct, disturbance of order or disregard of safety regulations.

Article 6 – Liability

6.1 Entry to the Event Location and/or participation in the Event is at your own risk.

6.2 The Organiser is not liable for damage, injury, loss or theft unless there is intent or gross negligence on the part of the Organiser.

6.3 Participants and Visitors indemnify the Organiser against liability for damages to third parties caused by their actions.

Article 7 – Cancellation, Relocation or Change

7.1 The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, move or modify the Event in the event of force majeure, including but not limited to extreme weather conditions, pandemics or government measures.

7.2 In case of cancellation of the Event by the Organiser, the Participant will receive a voucher worth the paid entry fee. This voucher is valid for participation in a future edition of the Event, within a period of 12 months from its issue.

7.3 Refund of the entry fee is not possible, unless otherwise determined by the Organiser.

Article 8 – Visual material

8.1 Video and photo recordings may be made during the Event for the purposes of reporting and promotion of Styrekx.

8.2 By participating or entering the Event location, the Participant or Visitor gives permission for the use of non-reducible visual material for promotional purposes.

8.3 For recognisable close-ups or portraits, permission will be requested separately if reasonably possible.

8.4 If a Participant or Visitor objects to certain use of visual material in which he or she is recognisably in the picture, he or she can report this in writing to the Organiser.

Article 9 – Personal data

9.1 Personal data will be processed in accordance with the applicable privacy legislation (AVG).

9.2 The Organiser refers for more information to the privacy statement at www.styrekx.com.

Article 10 – Final provisions

10.1 These general terms and conditions are exclusively governed by Dutch law.

10.2 Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district where Styrekx is established.
